Today I am sharing week 11 of Project Life for this year. Week 11 is a continuation of my time in Austria and return home.
Like in week 10, I had so many photos that I wanted to include in this week’s pages that I created two two-page spreads. So, there’s a full spread with a front/back insert.
Here’s a look at how I captured this week:
Left Side
This page covers our travel from Linz to Saltzburg, Austria. We traveled by train, which was a fun adventure! We attended a Farsi speaking church service in Saltzburg as soon as we arrived. We spent the rest of this day preparing for the dinner we were hosting for International Women’s Day.
Insert Front
This page features photos from our dinner at the church for International Women’s Day. It was so much fun…it’s really a night I’ll remember forever. There was food prepared by the men of the church, singing, testimonies, and dancing….so much dancing!! Our team was utterly exhausted at the end of the night. I love this shot of us giving one another shoulder massages.
It also features some photos taken on the bridge in Saltzburg. The views are stunning!
Insert Back
The two events featured here are our visit to a refugee family and our Sound of Music tour. Their hospitality was humbling. We were touched by hearing their story of faith and they remain in my prayers.
The Sound of Music bus tour was incredible!! We had a blast visiting many of the famous sites from the movie and singing along to the songs as we traveled the Austrian countryside.
Right Side
Keith took the kids to visit the art museum in DC the day before I arrived home. They had a great time together and I’m so glad they had this outing before we had to self-quarantine because of COVID-19.
Our travel home from Austria was an adventure. We were thankful to have a nearly empty plans with lots of room to stretch out and sleep. We arrived home right before travel restrictions were put in place because of Coronavirus.
I had so much fun sharing my adventures and photos with the Keith and the kids the night after I returned home. Keith snapped this photo of us together.
Our team had to self-quarantine for two weeks after our return home, but by the end of that period our whole state was under stay-at-home orders. Life changed quickly.
Thank you for joining me again as I share our everyday stories through Project Life!
