There is nothing quite like a new start and this year I am so excited for a new start with so many areas! One of them is this blog and what I plan to do with it and another is a fresh start with Project Life.
I rushed to get 2019’s album completed by the end of the year. As soon as it was completed I began looking forward to starting on my 2020 Project Life album.
Week 1 only consisted of a few days, but I took photos of each of the kids to add to this beginning page.
Here’s a look at my first spread for this year!
Left Side
This page contains a photo of EA, MC, Will and Jenny. I took it on our back deck knowing that I wanted it for the beginning of this year’s album. I hope to do a photo of each of them at the end of the year as well for comparison.
This page also includes photos of us playing Monopoly together of New Year’s Day. This was something that EA wanted to do over Christmas break. I won the game by just one dollar!!
Right Side
My friend, Umu, joined us for Friday Night Dinner. I am trying to practice hospitality and one of my goals is to invite friends over for one Friday Night Dinner each month.
Jenny got a beginner sewing machine for Christmas this year. She is loving her beginner’s sewing class at our homeschool co-op and I wanted her to have something to practice on at home. We didn’t get around to opening it until Saturday.
Keith and I went on a date Saturday afternoon to downtown DC. We had lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown and then walked to the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. We loved walking through looking at all of the amazing portraits. We especially loved viewing all of the presidential portraits.

Thanks for joining me for a fresh, new year of Project Life!! I am looking forward to sharing these layouts with you each week.
