I scrapped this layout of one of our favorite holiday cookies for the Christmas in July event at The Lilypad. I am hosting the scrap challenge to scrap a favorite holiday recipe.
I spent some time baking with each of my kids during the week before Christmas. These White Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Sugar Cookies have been a favorite cookie to bake with my girls.
I used a template to scrap the recipe, clipping a solid paper to the photo spot in the template and typing the recipe there.
Then I decided to use a large photo of the cookies on the cooling rack while Jenny was dipping them in white chocolate as the background.
I used lots of colorful papers and elements from a Christmas themed kit on sale during the Christmas in July event to embellish the layout. I also used an alpha and sticker style to create the title.
Scrapping this recipe layout has inspired me to scrap more holiday recipes in this way. I think it would make a fun recipe book to pass on and share!
